The Greenwood Leflore Consolidated School District Board of Trustees has named Mr. Charles Brooks as the District’s Interim Superintendent.

The board voted to appoint Mr. Brooks to lead the District during a Special Called meeting on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. He has over 43 years of experience in education from working in the former Greenwood School District. Mr. Brooks has served in various capacities. Prior to the consolidation, he served as Interim Superintendent for the former District.  

Mr. Brooks is a 1968 graduate of the former Threadgill High School. He earned his undergraduate degree from Mississippi Valley State University and 3 graduate degrees from Delta State University.
